Jim is fascinated with the human form and seeks to capture the emotions of human life through his work.  Primarily painting in oils or drawing in pencil, Jim takes a unique style, rooted in realism.  Jim is happy to paint portraits for friends or colleagues and anyone else who may be interested in his work for a small comission.  Please contact Jim if you are interested.

  

Jim currently resides in New York City. Prior to living in the city, Jim was an Infantry Officer is the U.S. Army and drew humorous sketches to help his comrades make it through long training exercises in the field.
